We are dedicated to helping our patients maintain their natural teeth in a healthy condition.

How long does it take?

Most endodontic procedures are complete in one visit, with the appointment lasting from 45-60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the tooth.

Antibiotic pre-medication?

Certain medical conditions (artificial heart valve, artificial joints, and other heart conditions) require patients to take antibiotics before dental procedures. Please inform the receptionist if you require antibiotics before dental procedures.

Pain management?

Specific antibiotics and/or analgesics will be prescribed when signs/symptoms indicate.

For additional information please contact us at either location.

Megan J. Gracy, DMD

I am fortunate to have been born and raised in the wonderful community of Gainesville. Growing up, I had the opportunity to observe and gain an appreciation for the necessary elements of a respected and professional career in Endodontics. Most summers, starting at the early age of nine, I spent the days assisting and observing my dad, an endodontist, work. Because of his exceptional clinical skill and professional manner with his patients, he was and still is one of the most respected endodontists in the state of Florida.
Twenty years later, I graduated from the University of Florida's Endodontic program. Prior to receiving my certificate in Endodontics, I graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina's Dental School followed by a fellowship in Endodontics at the University of Florida. I have practiced Endodontics since 2004. I appreciate the complexities of Endodontics and constantly strive to perfect my skills as a clinical endodontist.
I am an active member of the Alachua County Dental Association, Central District Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontist.
My husband, David, and I are blessed with one child. I also enjoy exercising, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
